Owner & Chief Operating Officer

Matt Davies

Hi, I'm Matt, Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Summit Cleaning & Restoration.

I joined Summit in 2013 as a carpenter and have had the opportunity to serve in nearly every operational role within the company before becoming an Owner and Chief Operating Officer. Throughout that journey, I had the privilege of learning from the founders and leaders who built Summit and established the culture that continues to define who we are today. Those experiences shaped not only my understanding of the restoration industry, but also my philosophy on leadership. I believe the best leaders stay curious, lead with humility, never stop learning, and are committed to helping the people around them grow.

What first drew me to the restoration industry wasn't just the construction aspect, it was the opportunity to help people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Every loss disrupts someone's sense of normal, and every project gives us the chance to make a meaningful difference. While I enjoy the science and complexity behind restoration, what continues to motivate me is much simpler: helping people navigate challenging circumstances and move forward with confidence.

As a leader, I believe my responsibility is to help others discover what they're capable of, create opportunities for growth, and challenge people to become more than they ever thought possible. To me, Summit exists to make a positive difference. I believe business should create opportunities, solve real problems, and strengthen the communities it serves. Whether we're helping customers recover from an unexpected loss or creating opportunities for our employees and their families to thrive, our purpose remains the same.

Looking ahead, I'm committed to helping Summit continue to raise the standard for the restoration industry through extraordinary customer experiences, operational excellence, leadership development, and a culture of continuous learning. I believe our industry has the opportunity to make an even greater impact, and I'm excited to be part of moving it forward.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, hiking, golfing, paddleboarding, riding dirt bikes, and traveling with my family. Above all, I treasure time with my wife, Janae, and our two children. No matter where life takes us, I believe my greatest purpose and most important role begins with my family.

Marty McIntosh, Regional Operations Manager at Summit Cleaning & Restoration — B&W portrait in a Summit cap on Summit cobalt

Marty McIntosh

Regional Operations Manager

Hi, My name is Marty McIntosh, and I'm the Regional Operations Manager at Summit Cleaning & Restoration. I've been proud to call Summit home for years, and every day brings a new opportunity to help our team succeed and make a difference for the customers we serve.

I've always believed that hard work, integrity, and showing up with the right attitude are the foundation of success. Everything I've accomplished—both personally and professionally—has come from staying committed, putting in the effort, and never being afraid to roll up my sleeves. There's a lot of pride that comes with building something through dedication, and that's a mindset I carry into everything I do.

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me team roping, spending time around the rodeo, or enjoying life outdoors. Rodeo has taught me some of life's greatest lessons: trust your team, stay disciplined, adapt when things don't go as planned, and never quit after a tough ride. Those same values shape the way I lead, support my team, and approach every challenge at Summit.

At the end of the day, I believe success isn't about one big moment—it's about consistently giving your best, lifting up the people around you, and always finding a way to move forward.

Grandt Mansfield

Director of Marketing & Business Development

Hi, I'm Grandt Mansfield, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Summit Cleaning & Restoration. I joined the Summit team in May 2026, bringing with me more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development.

Throughout my career, I've learned that successful business isn't built on transactions, it's built on trust, genuine relationships, and consistently doing what you say you're going to do. I've always enjoyed connecting with people, developing creative marketing strategies, and building partnerships that create long-term value. For me, marketing is about much more than promoting a company; it's about telling meaningful stories, strengthening relationships, and helping people understand who we are, what we stand for, and the difference we make.

One of the things that attracted me to Summit was the company's culture and commitment to serving people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Property damage can be overwhelming, and I take pride in helping communicate the compassion, professionalism, and expertise our team brings to every customer experience. It's rewarding to be part of an organization where our work truly makes a difference in the lives of others and in the communities we serve.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my family and our animals. I'm incredibly proud to be a father, and one of my greatest accomplishments is watching my son enter his senior year at the University of Oregon. I also enjoy riding my Harley-Davidson and participating in motorcycle events whenever I have the opportunity.

In October 2025, I began serving my community as a volunteer firefighter with the Turner Fire District. Becoming a firefighter has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, giving me another opportunity to serve others, work alongside an incredible team, and help people during some of their most challenging moments. The values of service, teamwork, and commitment that come with being a firefighter closely align with the values I bring to Summit every day.

Family owned since 1978

Founded by Brian & Angie Harper.

Brian and Angie's vision for Summit Cleaning & Restoration was never just about building a successful company — they set out to create an organization where exceptional quality, unwavering integrity, and genuine care for people would define every decision. From the beginning, they believed business should serve others, build lasting relationships, and treat every customer and employee with honesty, respect, and compassion. Over the years, that vision grew into a widely respected Pacific Northwest restoration company — known not only for technical excellence and trusted service, but for a culture that values people above profit and long-term relationships over short-term success. Their willingness to invest in their team, embrace innovation, and lead with humility shaped an organization that continues to make a meaningful difference for customers, employees, and the communities it serves.

While Summit's growth speaks for itself, Brian and Angie's greatest legacy is the culture they built, the values they instilled, and the people whose careers were shaped by their leadership. Today those principles still sit at the heart of Summit — guiding every decision and customer interaction — as Owner & COO Matt Davies leads day-to-day operations and other leaders carry the legacy forward. Brian and Angie remain part of the business and its story. Outside of Summit, they treasure time with their children, families, and especially their grandchildren — whether boating, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, or cheering on the Oregon Ducks — cherishing every chance to create lasting memories with the people who have shared in their journey.
