Our story
48 years of showing up for Oregon.
The company’s roots date back to 1978, and Summit was founded in 2005 by Brian & Angie Harper — growing from a small mom-and-pop carpet cleaning company into a full emergency restoration company. Today, Matt Davies serves as Owner & COO and leads day-to-day operations. Brian and Angie remain part of Summit and its culture, but they no longer live here full time and are not part of local day-to-day operations.
Our focus is still the same — we want to be the best, not the biggest. We believe it's not good enough to do a quality job at a fair price and on time. It's important how we make people feel in the process, and that the overall experience we create for you is a great one. Expect that from us.
A Foundation of Service
Summit's roots begin here: a small, family owned carpet cleaning business in Stayton, Oregon. With a couple of service vans and a commitment to doing quality work while treating people with honesty and respect, a reputation for exceptional service quickly began to grow.
Expanding to Meet Our Communities' Needs
As the needs of our customers evolved, so did Summit. What began as carpet cleaning expanded into water, fire, mold, storm damage, reconstruction, and emergency restoration services—always guided by the same commitment to serving people when they need it most.
Leadership Through the Years
Every chapter of Summit's history has been shaped by leaders committed to serving others and building something that lasts.
Brian Harper, Angie Harper, and Matt Davies have each helped guide Summit's growth while remaining committed to the values that have defined the company from the beginning: integrity, compassion, excellence, and developing people.
Together, they have worked to build more than a restoration company—they've built a team, a culture, and an organization dedicated to helping people through some of life's most difficult moments.

Whether the work is completed by a Summit team member or one of our carefully selected trade partners, every aspect of the project is coordinated and overseen by your dedicated Project Manager. We manage scheduling, quality, communication, and accountability so every trade works together as one seamless team, delivering a restoration experience you can trust from start to finish.
