The Pitchfork Mindset: How Summit Cleaning & Restoration Protects Every Field We Serve

As I look at where we stand today, I’m reminded of the simple truth that success is never owned, it’s rented, and the rent is due every day.

The “pitchfork mindset” isn’t just a metaphor for us, it’s a way of life. It means we show up early, sleeves rolled up, ready to defend what we’ve built from complacency, distraction, and anything that would compromise our standards.

Over the years, I’ve seen that mindset in action countless times. I’ve watched team members take ownership of challenges that weren’t “their job” simply because it needed to be done. I’ve seen people jump in after hours, in the middle of the night, during weekends and holidays, not because they had to, but because they care.

That’s what hungry and scrappy looks like at Summit. It’s the ownership mindset that says, if there’s a weed in the field, I’ll pull it. If there’s a gap in the fence, I’ll fix it.

This mindset is also what makes Summit such a special place to work. We hold ourselves to the highest standards: communication, integrity, accuracy, quality, and performance.

If you’re someone who thrives in a place where effort matters more than excuses, if you believe in doing the work right even when no one is watching, then this is the kind of field you’ll want to help guard.

Summit Cleaning & Restoration isn’t for everyone. But for the hungry, the scrappy, and the relentless, there’s no better place to be.
